WEDNESDAY NIGHT STUDY DURING LENT:
When I Survey the Wondrous Cross
The cross is everywhere in the Christian journey. It adorns our worship spaces; it is depicted in our art; we wear it as jewelry. Have you ever stopped to wonder, though, what the cross meant to those first believers in Jesus? How did the writers of the New Testament understand the cross and what happened on it? Join us on Wednesday evenings during Lent as we survey different New Testament understandings of the cross. We will explore what it meant in the writings of Paul, each of the four evangelists, and other New Testament writers in order to find its deeper meaning for our lives.
Led by Rev. Frazier, Fellowship Hall, 6:30pm.
The nursery/pre-school study group will meet in room 104. The elementary school study group will meet in room 118.
