Our calendars, closets, and spirits are filled with things that rob us of the life that God intended for us. As we begin a new calendar year, we will explore what it will look like for us to declutter our lives.
January 17 Decluttering Our Calendars Luke 10:38-42 Busyness is not the equivalence of holiness, nor is it the route to true fulfillment. Decluttering our calendars will give us the time to find “the needful thing.”
January 24 Decluttering Our Possessions Luke 12:13-21 The problem with our possessions is that our “stuff” begins to possess us. Decluttering sets us free.
January 31 Decluttering Our Spirits Ephesians 4:31-32, 5:1-2; Mark 5:1-20 Our spirits cannot soar when they are weighed down with the cargo of resentments, grudges and bitterness. These are demonic forces that are “legion.” The grace of Christ declutters our spirits and allows us to live in the wholeness that God intends.
