Greetings in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ!
We write to say thank you. Thanks to you and your extravagant generosity in 2015, we as a congregation were able to…
…widen our circle of welcome and hospitality for our Hispanic neighbors by expanding Eugenia Molina’s role as Hispanic Ministry Coordinator to full-time (that decision is already bearing fruit in this ministry and lives are being changed);
…deepen our reach of care and concern to two primary constituencies with the additions of Heather Wong to our staff as Pastor of Senior Adult Ministry and Emily Mills as our Pastor to Youth;
…and dream of new possibilities for our church campus as a place of witness and mission as the Building Study Committee has continued its work (by which we hope to respond to God’s call and claim on us to make disciples of Jesus Christ into the 21st century).
Those are just three examples of the many ways your generosity has touched people, changed lives, and witnessed to what God is doing.
And thanks to you, and your commitments and intentions for 2016, it is our hope that we will…
…explore expansion of our worship offerings, especially 1st on Chatham, as ways to reach more people for Jesus Christ;
…reach more young adults (millennials) for Christ through new ministries and service opportunities targeted for that age group;
…and further develop our plans for the church campus as a mission tool for the future.
Thanks to your intentionality, 2016 holds the promise of being the best year yet in our 145 year history!
A generous 2015! A hopeful 2016! We write to say “thank you” for being a part of Sharing the heart of Christ from the heart of Cary!
Grace and peace to you.
