Bolivia Team Chicken Pickin’
This Sunday, May 1, the Bolivia Mission Team will be selling tickets for their annual Chicken Pickin.’ Tickets are $10/each, $40/families and include grilled chicken, home-cooked sides and banana pudding. This fundraiser will help support the good works they do in Bolivia every summer. Get your tickets Sunday, then pick up your plates Friday, May 13 between 4:00 and 7:00pm!

Our mission: To develop a love for Christ through the fellowship of Christian men and adventure. This will be accomplished through a mix of scripture and hands-on activities.
This is our “Jesus was a carpenter?” meeting. During this meeting we will be working on a project where the boys will learn how to use various tools to make things. Please send your boy with $3.00 for the cost of materials. Scripture references will include: Matthew 13:55 and Mark 6:3. Please send your son with a snack to share. Waters will be provided. Sacred Rhythms: Spiritual Practices that Nourish Your Soul and Transform Your Life
This is a six-week study led by Pastor Heather Herrin Wong based on the book by Ruth Haley Barton. Learn about different types of prayer that teach new ways to encounter the Living God through video presentations and group discussion. The six sessions cover: breath prayer, silent time with God, lectio divina, bodily spirituality, the examen, and establishing your own “rule of life.” We also will talk about journaling and prayer walks. Join Health Ministries for the COMMIT TO ONE THING IN MAY challenge! Pick one small thing (ex: drinking water, stretching, praying, reading scripture, meditation, walking, opening your blinds) that you can do for as many days as you can during the month of May.
