Bosnia Mission Team
Final preparations are underway as the Bosnia Mission Teams prepares to leave July 14. This is the 20th year of partnership with the children and youth in Bosnia and it will be time of celebration for them and us. Donations of basic craft supplies (crayons, markers, construction paper, face paints and brushes, stickers) are still welcome. These and monetary contributions can still be made by this Sunday and can be left in the Trinity Sunday School room. Thanks to all who have supported this ministry all these years with your gifts and prayers. We will return July 24.
Bridge the Gap Mission
Bridge the Gap Mission will be collecting backpacks, notebook paper, pencils, crayons and markers in July and first of August. Last year we delivered backpacks full of school supplies to needy children in Southeast Raleigh. Drop-off locations are in the First UMC Cary office or Bridge the Gap box in the hallway. Check Facebook for more drop-off locations as they become available. Please drop off by Sunday, August 7. If you would like to volunteer to pack backpacks or help distribute them, just email email@example.com.

Help Serve Victims of Violence

Summer Choir Opportunity
If you have ever felt led to sing in the Chancel Choir in the Sanctuary services, then you should consider singing in the Summer Choir during July.
Summer Choir will rehearse on July 3, 10, 17, 24, and 31. Rehearsal times are before the services each Sunday, beginning at 8:00, 9:20, and 10:40. We will sing easier music for the month, and there will be members of the choir there to help lead and support you.
To be a part of the Summer Choir, contact Kerry Johnston (email@example.com), Christy Farrior (firstname.lastname@example.org), or Patti Cook (email@example.com), and we will get you involved. We look forward to YOU singing in the Summer Choir!
Servants Helping Servants at The ROCK
Every summer, we offer our regular servants a break, so they can get renewed and refreshed and hopefully return to teaching at the ROCK in the fall. This leaves some gaps in our teaching schedule that we’d like YOUR help in filling! Please click HERE to sign up for a date or two – it’s the best thank you that can be given to those that serve tirelessly all year long, shepherding your child on their journey of faith.
