MOPs 2 is seeking mentor moms. Sometimes we need a wise woman who has been there and done that to bounce ideas off of. That’s why we love our MOPs Mentors. If you would like to share your advice, willing ears, spiritual guidance and occasionally a free hand to hold a baby during our meetings we would LOVE to have you. Do you know someone else that may be interested? We’d love to have you both! We meet on the first and third Fridays of every month (September–May). Email Jenny (email@example.com) or Erin (firstname.lastname@example.org) for more information.

Chicken Pie Sale Is Back!
The UMW has had many requests over the past few years to reinstate our famous Chicken Pie sale. We will be making and selling our pies on September 10 from 10:45am to 1:00pm in the church kitchen. They will be $10 each for 9-inch deep-dish pies. These pies, for those of you who do not remember, are all meat Chicken Pies. Some of you may know them as Moravian Chicken Pies if you have ever had them in Winston-Salem. We will be making only 250 pies this time and orders will be taken in the SS folders on August 21 and 28, or through UMW circles. You can also order on EasyReg beginning August 21. We will have a wait list when the 250 orders are filled. We are excited that our pies will be back this fall. The proceeds will go toward UMW mission projects in the local community, nation and the world community. Click here to place your order.
