November 5 – Habitat for Humanity Construction – Construction will begin on the FUMC sponsored Habitat home, with several other workdays planned for November, December & January (Nov 19, Dec. 3, 17 & 31, Jan 7, 14 & 21 We have a very aggressive build schedule so we hope you will be able to join us in this work. November 12, 8:00 AM – Salute to Veterans Breakfast – In addition to food and fellowship, November’s UMM breakfast will be honoring our servicemen and women. Our speaker for this important occasion will be David Milidonis, the past executive director for the Cary Veterans Freedom Park and current director for National Veterans History Archival Institute. We hope you will be able to join us to show your support for those who have done so much for us.
November 17 – 19 – Habitat Wakes’s Home Preservation Program – Men from FUMC are partnering with Habitat Wakes’s Home Preservation Program to replace the roof of a local Wake County resident. This is a 3-day project to aid a needy individual and will require 12 volunteers per day. The signup URL is http://vhub.at/fumofcary
The United Methodist Men (UMM) are having a speaker from Oak City Soccer talk about Autism at their August 13th breakfast. Bring the whole family at 8:00 a.m. for the best breakfast in town!

Thinking about your summer vacation? How about a quick trip into space? Tony Rice, an information security engineer and ambassador for the NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory, will be the speaker at the United Methodist Men’s breakfast in May.
Tony speaks to different groups about the latest NASA missions, the solar system and astronomy. This promises to be an out-of-this-world presentation along with the “Best Breakfast in Town”.
