H. William Green is the Executive Pastor of Congregational Care. William’s desire in ministry is to see persons experience God’s grace in a way that is personal, convincing, and life transforming. William is a native of Durham, NC. He is a graduate of Catawba College (AB, 1974), Duke Divinity School (M.Div., 1977), and Candler School of Theology (D. Min., 1993). Kollin Absher-Baer is the Director of Young Adult Ministry and 1st on Chatham Worship Leader. “I love leading others into communion with God…and I LOVE ministering to young adults…they ask the craziest questions and often most poignant ones, and demand authenticity in return” says Kollin. Raised in Houston, TX while leading contemporary worship and ministering to young adults in a variety of faith communities, Kollin felt his call to ministry during college. He obtained a B.A. in Music and Business from Houston Baptist University and a Masters of Divinity from Duke Divinity. Kollin’s wife Brittany, serves as the Associate Pastor of Fiesta Christiana of Apex UMC. Kollin enjoys laughing and goofing around with his wife, song-writing, reading, watching movies, walking and hiking, and collecting vinyl. Dana Cassell provides hospitality and servant coordination for the 1st on Chatham services. You can find her on Sunday mornings at The Cary Theater making sure there’s plenty of hot coffee and welcoming folks to the service. Dana enjoys helping people make meaningful connections at church, finding places where people feel like they fit and can be in community with and service to others. Dana’s married to Dan, and they have two daughters – Caroline and Kate. In her spare time, Dana enjoys running, reading, traveling, cooking, hosting friends and family, and laughing until she cries at stand up comedy.
Dana grew up in Louisville, Kentucky, and went to school in Texas. And while she’s not a North Carolina native, she’d be quick to tell you she got here as fast as she could! She’s a long time member of the Junior League, and her philanthropic passion is improving the quality of life for children and families in our local community who are suffering from hunger and poverty. Dana holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the Temerlin Advertising Institute at Southern Methodist University, and a Master of Arts from The University of Texas at Austin. She consults on the areas of brand strategy and digital marketing, and occasionally teachers university level classes on these topics.
