Lifelong Learning

First Cary “Lifelong Learning” classes are one-time or multi-week learning opportunities outside of Small Groups that foster a sense of community, and allow all to continue to grow in imagination of who God is and who God is calling us to be. For more information, please reach out to Reverend Anna Thornburg!

Small Groups

There are a number of ways to experience belonging and explore God’s goodness through Small Group communities. On Sunday mornings, Sunday School Classes meet every week and Community Groups meet every other week during the Christian Formation hour (9:45-10:45 a.m.). Throughout the week, there are various Small Group opportunities to explore Scripture, experience community, and serve alongside friends. Contact Reverend Anna Thornburg to get connected!

Additional group offerings for adults include JOY (Just Older Youth) for those ages 55 and over, UWF (United Women of Faith), UMM (United Methodist Men), and I+AM (Inclusive + Affirming Methodists)

Sunday School

On Sundays we have a Christian Formation hour at 9:45 a.m. for in-person Sunday School and small group gatherings for adults, as well as youth and children. Need help finding a class or small group? Contact Reverend Anna Thornburg to find one that is right for you.
