Growing in Grace

In Psalm 23, the Psalmist describes the bounty of blessing through this memorable image: “My cup runneth over.”

In many ways, that describes our church!

Between metrics like baptisms (nearly 30 last year), new members joining (almost 100 last year), increased worship attendance (up 15% in-person each of the last two years), we are seeing incredible momentum for ministry.

In fact, we are making plans to establish two additional worship services at 9:45 am in February 2025 – we are growing in grace!  

This growth has been fueled by many factors. Part of it is the incredible people investing in our ministries with time, talent, and generosity. Part of it is the vibrancy of our town. And part of it is the church’s world-class facility that has recently been refurbished and expanded. 

In order to build on our momentum and continue to pour resources into the ministries which are fueling our good growth, we need to significantly reduce, or even eliminate, our $7.1 million in debt from that recent expansion and renovation. 

To seize the opportunities before us, let’s take the next step with our generosity! Our investment now will further the ministries of today while making way for ministries of our future.

Prayerfully consider how you might make an impact with an investment in the generations to come.

    In a time when many of our sister churches are struggling to survive, we have a tremendous opportunity to grow the kingdom here at First Cary United Methodist Church!
