There are a number of tangible signs that are gifts from God exemplifying the depths of God’s goodness and grace. One of these gifts is that of Baptism. As we celebrate the Baptism of the Lord this Sunday, may we remember the promise God makes to each of us amidst our own Baptism. The promise that proclaims, ““You are my child, my beloved, with you I am well pleased.” When we find ourselves in the depths of this world, may we find nourishment in the promise and presence of God.
