The Burning Bush

As Israelites experience the injustice of exile, Moses provides immense prophecy of God’s promise. During this time, Moses takes his father’s flock to the edge of the desert and encounters a burning bush. Sometimes a symbol declaring distress, God proclaims that he hears and sees his people. Just as the flame does not consume the bush, the power of darkness and death does not overcome the promise and presence of Christ.
