Nicodemaus has been watching Jesus and witnessing miracles. However, he still has his doubts. In a conversation between the two in John 3, Nicodemaus longs to understand what it means to be called towards a way of living differently. While John 3:16 is one of the most recited Scriptures, the following verse helps us understand a broader view of God’s presence and power. Jesus says, “God didn’t send his Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world might be saved through him.” It’s not just about personal salvation, it’s about communal becoming. For in seasons such as this, may we follow where the Spirit blows within a watching world.
