Loving. Welcoming. Accepting.

First Cary Youth creates a safe environment where students can be their authentic selves, experience God’s love, and love one another. We provide weekly opportunities on Sunday mornings, Sunday evenings, and weekdays, plus trips, retreats, and events throughout the year. Passionate adult Youth Ministry Leaders and committed parents give generously of their prayers, presence, gifts, service, and witness to provide exemplary mentoring and supervision for our youth.

Sunday Mornings

Sunday School: 9:45-10:45am, C101 (MS) and C102 (HS)
A time to fellowship while diving deeper into the scripture of the week’s sermon.

Confirmation: November-May, 9:45-10:45am, C001, 8th Grade & Up
Confirmation is an opportunity to respond to God’s call on our lives and is an important part of a lifelong journey with God and one another.  Confirmation is open to any youth in the 8th grade or older who has not yet been confirmed in his or her faith.

Sunday Evenings

UMYF (United Methodist Youth Fellowship): 5-7pm, C002 (Community Room)
During the school year, UMYF meets each Sunday night in the Community Room. We share a meal together ($5) before playing games, discussing a scripture-based lesson, and breaking into small groups to catch up with one another!

Special Events

Throughout the year, we provide all types of trips and events for students to experience God and grow closer to one another. Pilgrimage is an amazing Conference youth event with student led worship and testimonies that is always a favorite among the youth. Discovery is a weekend retreat at the church that gives our middle schoolers the opportunity to dive deeper into their faith and the high schoolers a crucial opportunity to lead them. Mission week is full of community service projects right here in Cary along with afternoons of fun. Fall Retreats, Christmas parties, Fall Festivals…we do it all!
